GSK sells stake in Denmark's Genmab - (London South East via NewsPoints Desk)

  • GlaxoSmithKline said it placed the company's i7.9 percent stake in Genmab up for sale to institutional investors, as reported London South East Wednesday.
  • The result of the placing, which is worth about 280 million euros ($320 million), will be announced around February 5, GlaxoSmithKline noted.
  • "Since the announcement of the sale of GSK's marketed Oncology portfolio to Novartis, GSK has considered its stake in Genmab to be a non-core asset," the company said.
