Temasek, TrueNorth-CPPIB seek to invest in Biocon Biologics - (The Economic Times via NewsPoints Desk)

  • According to sources, Temasek and True North together with Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board are separately in talks to invest $300 million in Biocon Biologics' Indian unit, as reported The Economic Times Wednesday.

  • One person estimated that the unit could be valued at as much as $4 billion.

  • Biocon initially formed Biocon Biologics to house all of its biologics assets in 2016.

  • Both Temasek and True North have previously invested in the parent firm Biocon.
