The ovarian cancer drug niraparib has been approved for use in Northern Ireland, BBC News reported.
The therapy, which had previously been cleared for NHS coverage in England, Scotland and Wales, will be available for women with recurrent ovarian cancer.
Northern Ireland's department of health said it "has now endorsed the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence recommendation on niraparib to enable its commissioning locally, on the same basis as in England."
