Brazil's Hypera signs deal with Eurofarma to sell 12 drugs for $161 mln-filing - (Fidelity via NewsPoints Desk)

  • In a securities filing, Hypera it signed a deal worth $161 million with Eurofarma Laboratorios for the sale of a portfolio of 12 products in Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama and Peru, as reported in Fidelity.

  • According to the Brazilian drugmaker, the assets were part of a recent deal with Takeda, which is still subject to antitrust approval.

  • Earlier in this month, Hypera acquired 18 drugs from Takeda for $825 million.
