GlaxoSmithKline may face class action suit over Seroxat

GlaxoSmithKline may face a class action lawsuit over antidepressant Seroxat next spring. The lawsuit is expected to claim that about 1500 plaintiffs were not warned that taking the drug could lead to addiction.

In response, the drugmaker indicated that it doesn't "accept the allegations in the potential class action and will address the issues raised if litigation is pursued," news sources report. The drug is sold as Paxil in the US.
