One of the world’s first COVID-19 vaccines is set to be manufactured in the Czech Republic - ( via NewsPoints Desk)

  • Praha Vaccines announced that it intends to start producing Novavax’s COVID-19 vaccine NVX-CoV2373 early next year and produce up to 1 billion doses, reported

  • In May, Novavax acquired the vaccine manufacturing facility in the Czech Republic to manufacture their vaccine candidate. 

  • Praha Vaccines will seek permission from the Czech State Office for Drug Control next month to conduct clinical trials of NVX-CoV2373 in the country, potentially adding hundreds of local residents to the trial in October.
