Bolivia signs deal with China´s Sinopharm for coronavirus vaccine - (National Post via NewsPoints Desk)

  • Bolivia said on Thursday that it had signed an agreement with Sinopharm to receive an initial supply of half a million doses of its COVID-19 vaccine by the end of February, as reported in the National Post.

  • Bolivia’s President Luis Arce said China’s President Xi Jinping had agreed to sell Bolivia 400,000 doses and had donated another 100,000 doses.

  • The country has signed deals with Russia for its Sputnik V vaccine and India’s Serum Institute for AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine. It also has an agreement with the COVAX initiative.
