Bolivia said on Thursday that it had signed an agreement with Sinopharm to receive an initial supply of half a million doses of its COVID-19 vaccine by the end of February, as reported in the National Post.
Bolivia’s President Luis Arce said China’s President Xi Jinping had agreed to sell Bolivia 400,000 doses and had donated another 100,000 doses.
The country has signed deals with Russia for its Sputnik V vaccine and India’s Serum Institute for AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine. It also has an agreement with the COVAX initiative.
