Thailand has approved Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use, the country’s health minister said on Thursday, as reported in Fidelity.
The country has also authorised vaccines developed by AstraZeneca and Sinovac Biotech.
Meanwhile, China's Sinopharm and the makers of Russia's Sputnik V are preparing to submit requests for approval, said Paisal Dunkhum, head of Thailand's FDA.
Moderna has also said it would submit an application for approval while India's Bharat Biotech is in the process of submitting documents for vaccine registration, Paisal added.
