  • Pakistan has purchased 13 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine from three Chinese companies, health minister Faisal Sultan said on Thursday, as reported by London South East.

  • Sultan said Pakistan had procured vaccines from Sinopharm, CanSinoBio and Sinovac.

  • He said another 2.4 million doses of AstraZeneca’s vaccine will be arriving under the first tranche of the COVAX programme.
